Opening New Doors!

A review of a fun makeover contest displayed on a parade float in this year's parade by local real estate company Connecticut Commercial Realty & Select Homes and Project Closet!

Opening New Doors at the Four Town Fair Parade

Connecticut Commercial Realty & Select Homes was thrilled to partner this year with Debbie Wright’s Project Closet and her Design Team on a parade float for the Four Town Fair Parade. This year’s theme was Opening New Doors! While Connecticut Commercial Realty & Select Homes opens physical doors for our clients; Stylist, Debbie Wright helps people open new metaphorical doors with inspirational and self esteem coaching and self image workshops.

The campaign was titled “Open a New Door” and thru and Facebook contest one winner was chosen to receive a complete make-over. After reviewing several applicants, Kelly Fisher of Enfield was chosen to be our winner this year. Kelly’s story of self commitment and dedication to a huge weight loss, healthy life style changes and management of her family as a single mother were part of what made her story stand out.

Kelly spent an afternoon of shopping, styling and image coaching with Debbie Wright at Macy’s followed by a complete session with well known Brush salon owner, Bobby Scott and make by Jessica Imbriglio. The package was valued at $500.00.

The morning of the parade staff and friends of Connecticut Commercial Realty & Select Homes and Project Closet anticipated Kelly’s arrival with her new look. One of the best highlights was having her daughter arrive to see her mom’s new look for the first time that was wonderfully overwhelming for all!

A great journey commenced thru Somers from Main Street to the Four Town Fairgrounds. We love seeing all of our clients, customers, neighbors and friends along the parade route and having our special make over winner this year just enhanced the day!

Check out our Facebook page for fun before and after photos, links to Debbie Wright; Project Closet and Brush. We all look forward to making this an annual event and hope to find another winner next year as deserving as this year’s winner! A special thank you also to T-Square Builders of Somers for construction help with our float and the Dave Marti and DG Graphics for the images displayed on our float!
