Somers Wrestler Kyle Foster Finishes 4th in New England

Kyle Foster represented Somers High School with talent and character. He came home the 4th best 195-pound wrestler in New England (six states - 162 schools).

Anthony Saturday matches - Quarterfinals CT 2 Kyle Foster - Somers dec NH 1 Joe Chimelski - Nashua North 6-2 Semifinals - Kyle found himself in the same place as the 2012 semifinals match wrestling MA 1 Leo Trindade from Billerica. MA 1 Leo Trindade - Billerica dec CT 2 Kyle Foster - Somers 7-4 Semifinals Consolation  CT 2 Kyle Foster - Somers dec MA 2 Jake Genereux - Duxbury Finals Consolation for 3rd/4th Kyle found himself facing Chimelski for the second time of the tournament. NH 1 Joe Chimelski caught CT 2 Kyle Foster - Somers with a strong cradle for the pin. Senior Captian Kyle Foster places FOURTH in NEW ENGLAND Family, teammates, and friends traveled to Providence to sit mat side and support Kyle.
