Herbs have been used for centuries to flavor our food, support our wellness, and connect us with the natural world — and we’re celebrating them in all their glory at the Amazing Herbs day this Saturday at the Ellington Farmers Market.
Saturday, June 21st, from 9–12 at 72 Maple Street, the market will be filled with the scent and spirit of all things herbal. The Connecticut Herb Association will be with us to share their deep knowledge and offer guidance on how to grow, use, and appreciate herbs in everyday life.
Don’t miss a special talk from our own Jeanie of Blessed Creek, who will lead a thoughtful lesson on the healing power of herbs — one of the most beloved traditions of our market.
You’ll also find local vendors offering handcrafted herbal teas, soaps, salves, seasonings, and fresh herbs to bring home.
And to top it all off, Steel N Eazy will be playing live — bringing their soulful, feel-good sound to the market lawn.
Come curious, come hungry, and come ready to be inspired. We can’t wait to share this special day with you.
