About New England Tractor Trailer Training School
This school trains drivers from both Massachusetts and Connecticut, and first began training truck drivers here in 1965. Now, for over 50-years, NETTTS has been a important part of the Somers community and has been providing greater Hartford and Springfield area residents like you with Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License training.
Our truck driver training school in is located near the Connecticut/Massachusetts border. The benefit of being only 25 miles from Hartford, CT and 15 miles from Springfield, MA, is that this campus is able to train students from both Connecticut and Massachusetts who are interested in getting a CDL license and becoming a professional truck driver.
Classrooms are located in the main building along with administrative offices such as Student Services, Admissions, and our Financial Aid team. Located nearby is the driving range where you will learn different backing and turning maneuvers in a hands-on environment. While at school you will learn safety procedures, as well as the technical and operational aspects of the truck you are training to drive. Once you have graduated and mastered the handling and maneuvering of our tractor trailers, you’ll be ready to take your commercial driver’s license exam!
