The rain stopped, the clouds cleared and it was a wonderful morning at the Ellington Farmers' Market Happiness is a Warm Puppy Dog Day on June 8th. Dogs galore, from a 200 pound mastiff to a 2 pound pug puppy, were in attendance and well behaved during the delightful morning. Over 75 dog owners took advantage of the rabies and micro chip clinic sponsored by the Ellington Center Animal Clinic. Proceeds from the clinic were donated to the Ellington Animal Control. State Police officer Christy and his K9 partner wowed the audience with a demonstration of their combined skills. Many children were delighted with meeting and making so many four legged friends.
