Many thanks to our faithful followers who braved the rain, wind and cold last Saturday to purchase fresh products. As a result of all of our rainy weather we are once again a bright green community...which fits with this Saturday's theme - Green Energy Day. Five vendors will be on hand to dispense information on the latest solar options, low cost lighting and alternative energy sources for your home or business. Speaking of green, there will be plenty of fresh greens hand-picked from our local farmers' gardens for purchase this week. Guest vendors include Malya Rosa and her colorful hand-bands and shirts, Flowers by Design, Ocean Treasure Jewelry and the always delicious Fabyan Sugar Shack with everything maple that you would ever want (fyi - the maple balsamic salad dressing is incredible). The Eight Mile River Band will make you stomp your feet as you walk the grounds with friends and neighbors. We promise this week's weather will be better - a bold statement, we know, but we are standing by our prediction of sunny skies and warm breezes, so get your reusable bags and baskets ready and bike, walk or drive to the market at Arbor Park on Saturday from 9 to noon.
