Elderly Ellington Woman in Critical Condition After Being Struck By Car
The woman, reported to be in her 80s, was getting her mail when she was hit by a car driven by a man who is also in his 80s.
An elderly woman was struck by a car while getting her mail Tuesday night and was airlifted to Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, where she was listed as in critical condition, according to NBC Connecticut.
The woman, who is reported to be in her 80s and lives in the area of Middle Road in Ellington, was taken to the hospital via LifeStar.
According to NBC Connecticut, the offending driver is a man who is also in his 80s.
