Ellington Boys Survive Granby Comeback to Earn Spot in Class M Soccer Championship Game
The Knights had to work double overtime in the semifinals Tuesday to secure a berth in Saturday's title matchup.

WINDSOR, CT — The old Yogi Berra saying "it ain't over 'til it's over" certainly applied to Tuesday night's Class M boys soccer semifinal matchup at Windsor High School.
Ellington High School jumped to a 3-0 lead, but NCCC rival Granby Memorial stormed back to tie the game and force a pair of overtime periods. Early in the first extra session, the Knights converted on a long boot by Jimmy Maznicki and held on to secure a 4-3 victory and earn a spot in Saturday's championship tilt.
Zackery Kindall, Erik Nordmark and Aditya Chakravarthy scored goals for the Knights.
