Ellington DPW Accepting Clothing Donations For Charity
The town has recently partnered with a foundation to help benefit Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
ELLINGTON, CT — Folks living in Ellington have a new, clean way to dispose of their unwanted clothing and textile products ... and they can help out a good cause as well.
Ellington officials have recently partnered with the Hearthsprings Foundation out of Sprinfield, Mass., to set up collection bins at the Town of Ellington's Department of Public Works site at 21 Main St., Ellington.
There, people can donate unwanted clothing, linens, shoes, hats, sporting goods, housewares and more.
