The Ellington High School golf team defeated visiting Windsor Locks 161-189 on Wednesday.
Drew Brennan was the medalist for Ellington with a 38. Jeff Bird shot a 39, Jon McPartland shot a 41, Greg Ussery shot a 43, Ali Larew shot a 44, and Ryan Lagan shot a 46 for the Knights.
For Windsor Locks, Chris Toce shot a 45, Travis Kupec shot a 46, Nate Pierce shot a 47, Collin Eversdyke shot a 51, and Jordan Torres shot a 60.
The match was played at Ellington Ridge Country Club.
Ellington (2-0, 2-0), will be on the road against E.O. Smith on Thursday. Windsor Locks (0-2, 0-2) will host Stafford on Monday.
