Ellington High School Boys to Play in Prestigious Hoophall Classic
The five-day showcase event in Springfield, featuring top scholastic teams from across the country, runs from Jan. 12-16.

ELLINGTON, CT — Ellington High School's boys basketball team will be making a midseason appearance in one of high school's most elite showcases.
The Hoophall Classic, a five-day exhibition featuring 60 top high school boys and girls programs, is scheduled for Jan. 12-16, 2017 at the birthplace of basketball, Springfield College.
Five boys games will kick off the event at Blake Arena on Thursday, Jan. 12, with Ellington taking on Easthampton (MA) in the opening contest at 3 p.m.

- Easthampton (MA) vs. Ellington (CT), 3 p.m.
- Hopkins (MA) vs. Palmer (MA), 4:30 p.m.
- Sabis Charter School (MA) vs. Taconic (MA), 6 p.m.
- East Longmeadow (MA) vs. Pope Francis (MA), 7:30 p.m.
- Springfield Central (MA) vs. Putnam (MA), 9 p.m.
