Ellington Incident Leads to Stalking Charge

A woman was assigned a $10,000 bond in a stalking case.

ELLINGTON, CT — A local woman has been charged with second-degree stalking for an incident at on Old Contry Lane, state police said.

On Sunday just after 4 p.m., troopers responded to an Old Country Lane home for a trespassing complaint, according to an arrest report.

Lydia Williams, 55, of Meadowbrook Road, Ellington was located on the property and taken into custody, according to an arrest warrant.

She was charged with breach of peace as well as stalking, according to an arrest report.

Williams was assigned a $10,000 bond and is due in court on Nov. 21, according to an arrest report.
