Ellington Election Results 2019: Spielman Stays As 1st Selectman
Ellington residents went to the polls to vote for candidates for first selectman, Board of Selectmen and Board of Education, among others.

ELLINGTON, CT β The votes have been counted in Ellington, and incumbent Republican First Selectman Lori Spielman has retained her seat with a commanding victory over Democratic challenger Peggy Busse. Unofficial vote totals obtained from the Secretary of the State's office show Spielman garnering 2,148 votes, to 1,210 for Busse.
Six current members of the Board of Selectmen sought to retain their seats: Republicans John Turner, James Prichard, Ronald Stomberg and David Stavens, and Democrats Sarah Cook and Melinda Ferry. Democrat Jaime Foster, currently a member of the school board, also challenged for a Board of Selectmen seat. Here are the unofficial vote totals:

- Stomberg, 1,905
- Cook, 1,422
- Ferry, 1,419
- Foster, 1,364
Candidates for spots on the Board of Education were incumbent Republicans Michael Young and Kerry Socha and Democrat Elizabeth Nord. Challengers were Democrats Miriam Underwood, Aaron Foster and Jennifer Mullin. Vote totals were:
