Ellington Schools Get A New Business Chief

ELLINGTON, CT - The Board of Education this week unanimously appointed Brian Greenleaf as the new director of finance and operations.

Greenleaf will officially start on July 1, school system officials said.

The search committee consisted of:

• Rob Butler – director of facilities
• Erin McGurk – director of educational services
• Michael Purcaro – Board of Education
• Trudie Roberts – Center School principal
• Anita Yost – business office support staff
• Michael Young – Board of Education

Greenleaf is currently the project controls manager for the CREC construction services division and oversees more than $1 billion in school construction projects in terms of producing and overseeing all contract, risk and insurance, procurement documentation for the division.
