On Monday, the Ellington High School softball team defeated visiting Enfield 10-0.
Samantha Anthony threw a one-hitter with no walks and seven strikeouts. She helped her cause, going 4-for-5 with a homerun and double.
Danielle Pare went 5-for-6 with a homerun, and Danielle Markowski went 5-for-5 with a walk. She scored all six times.
Arianna Diccicio went 3-for-6 with a homerun, Shannon Milane was 5-for-6 with two triples, and Nikki Foote went 4-for-4 with six RBI.
Ellington (5-2) travels to SMSA on Wednesday. Enfield (0-6) travels to Somers the same day.
