In the bottom of the fourth, White made a great throw from center field to Holmes who in turn fired home to squash a Simsbury attempt to score.

Jessica Miller and Rachel Stone had two hits a piece for Ellington. Their back to back singles to start the top of the fifth set the stage for Brianna DeLand's double that knocked them both in to boost Ellington's lead to 6-0.
