The Ellington High School softball team had a slow start against host East Windsor, trying to adjust to the pitching, but ended up taking a 12-0 victory.
Samantha Anthony threw a one-hitter for the victory.
Contributing to the cause was Danielle Pare, Shannon Millane, and Arianna Diciccio who all hit home runs.
Ellington (8-2) will travel to Canton on Wednesday. East Windsor (6-5) will travel to Canton on Tuesday.
