Ellington, Somers Teams Set to Begin Fall Sports Schedules

ELLINGTON-SOMERS, CT — Preseason practices and scrimmages are about to wrap up at Ellington and Somers high schools, as the 2016 fall regular season is about to commence.

Here is the schedule of varsity games involving Knight and Spartan teams this week:

Friday, Sept. 9

• boys soccer - Somers at East Windsor, 3:45 p.m.
• girls soccer - East Windsor at Somers, 3:45 p.m.
• field hockey - Masuk at Somers, 4:15 p.m.
• girls soccer - Ellington at Suffield, 5 p.m.
• football - Ellington at Valley Regional-Old Lyme, 6:30 p.m.
• boys socceer - Ellington at Suffield, 7 p.m.
• football - Stafford-Somers-East Windsor at Coventry-Windham Tech-Bolton, 7 p.m.
