On Friday, the Ellington-Somers boys tennis team defeated host Enfield 7-0.
Singles points were won by Sachin Panchal, Andrew Parker and Corey Maznicki while the teams of Kevin Sisco-Micah Fox and Justin Nicoletti-James Costanzo scored in doubles.
Enfield was forced to forfeit the No. 4 Singles and No. 3 Doubles due to missing players.
It was was a solid team effort for Ellington-Somers as everyone played consistently up and down the lineup.
The boys pushed their 2013 record to 4-1 and will host Avon on Monday. The girls team will take its 8-0 record on the road against Avon the same day.
