On Monday afternoon, the Ellington-Somers tennis teams both recorded victories over Suffield.
The girls scored a 7-0 shutout and the boys won 6-1.
The girls, playing at home, got singles points from Hannah Riley, Kristine Gouin, Kat Sisco and Janna Grinaski.
Jess Baker-Courtney Binkowski, Karli King-Allison Steinmetz and Hayley Babineau-Ashley Thomas scored points in doubles.
The boys, playing in breezy, cool conditions over in Suffield got singles points from Sachin Panchal, Andrew Parker, Micah Fox and Kevin Sisco.
Coach Rich Willis said that Parker and Sisco were outstanding in singles.
The doubles teams of Corey Maznicki-James Rockett, and Justin Nicoletti-James Costanzo scored points in doubles. Maznicki and Rockett came from a set down to win their exciting match.
The girls stay perfect on the season at 6-0. The next match is Wednesday in East Granby. The boys move to 3-1 and will play in Avon on Thursday.
