The Ellington/Somers Knights football team will host - Windsor Locks/Suffield at 1pm Saturday 10-22-11. The Knights enter the contest undefeated and look to maintain their position tied at the top of the Pequot Uncas Division.

At half time the Knights will honor legendary local football volunteer Joseph Sardinha for his service and dedication to football in the Ellington area. Mr, Sardinha is retiring after 17 seasons with the Ellington youth program. Ct. State Representative Cristopher Davis will be on hand to join in those ceremonies and many past and present players are expected to join in this tribute.

The Knights invite everyone to join in watching exciting Pequot league action and to honor Joseph Sardinha for his tremendous efforts in the football community. Game time is at 1pm and the game will be played at Ellington High School.
