The Somers Public Library is offering a free program on 'Introduction to Opera' presented by opera enthusiast Mike Cascia on Monday, September 10 at 1:00 p.m. Mr. Cascia will explain what an opera is, how it started, and how it is written. Participants will be treated to wonderful musical samples of opera singers as well as samples of various operas. The Somers Library is located at 2 Vision Boulevard in the Education Complex.
