The 17th Annual Plant Sale will be held at Grower Direct, 164 Hampden Road (off Route 83), a wholesale flower grower in Somers. Once a year this multiacre series of greenhouses is open to the public for the sale of flowers to benefit the volunteer work of the members of Somers Beautification. Pell Farms will bring trees and shrubs for sale and Meadowbrook Farms will bring vegetable plants. Come to this annual event on May 14 to find a huge selections of flowers to have for your gardens or for gifts. Have a free cup of coffee and a doughnut, chat with members of this group, tour the greenhouses or shop in the consolidated plant area.
