The 13th Annual Somers Great Escape, sponsored by RoadID, is set for Saturday, September, 15th 2012!
Prizes for both 5k & 5-Mile / men & women:
- 1st Place: $300
- 2nd Place: $150
- 3rd Place: $ 75
- Each age division winner: $20
- $200 Bounty for breaking overall course record!

Race day registration will begin at 7:00am. Those that preregistered can pick up their bibs between 7am-8am. Race t-shirts will be provided to race participants. The entry fee prior to Sept. 13 is $20. Our race day entry fee is $25.

Both races will start simultaeously at 8:00am and will be chip timed by Accu-Spec Racing. Our 5k course is USATF certified. The 5-mile course has been adjusted this year to provide for a much faster finish.
Awards and door prizes will be handed out immediately after the race.
This is certainly a destination race that you can make the day of. Run or spectate the Great Escape... stay for the parade... then head to the 4-Town Fair!
