Police Search for Larceny Suspect in Somers Wednesday
Troopers and police dogs were in a section of town Wednesday looking for a suspect.
SOMERS, CT – There was a heavy police presence in Somers at lunchtime on Wednesday for what authorities described as a search for a larceny suspect.
State police would not elaborate on the case, only to say a suspect was being tracked. There was a heavy presence of several troopers and police dogs near Battle and Main streets in close proximity to the local senior center and the Post Office.
A witness at the Senior Center confirmed the presence of investigators.
