Little League All-Star Tournament Underway

On Saturday, Somers defeated Suffield 11-9 in the 9-10 year-old division of the District 8 Little League All-Star tournament.

For Somers Mike Dalessio had three hits and pitched well, Tim Splain had two hits and pitched well, and Brady Coleman had two hits and a walk.

For Suffield, Trevor Kulas had four hits and scored three runs, Claudio Santaniello pitched well and had two hits and a walk, and Justin Price had two hits.

Somers (2-0) will play Thompsonville on Tuesday.
