Local Mammals Topic Of Ellington Library Program

The Hall Memorial Library in Ellington will host a talk on otters, muskrats, minks, and beavers on Tuesday night, March 26.

ELLINGTON, CT — Spring's recent arrival means, eventually, the weather will be perfect for hitting the local trails.

And when folks head out on Ellington's trails, they might see a few interesting mammals crossing their paths.

A special program on Tuesday, March 26, at 6:30 p.m. at the Hall Memorial Library, 93 Main St., Ellington, will help locals prepare for what they may see.

Local nature expert Ginny Apply is hosting a talk on otters, minks, beavers, and muskrats, animals that will be (if they're not already) out and about locally.

Her free program will be in the library's upstairs meeting room, with registration for the event available on the library's website or in person at the desk.
