Potrikus Officially Withdraws from Somers First Selectman Race

Endorsed Somers Democratic first selectman candidate Timothy Potrikus has officially withdrawn his candidacy, the Journal Inquirer reported.

Potrikus filed a letter recently with the Somers town clerk that announced his withdrawal.

Republican First Selectman Lisa Pellegrini will now be opposed only by petitioning candidate Linda Louise LaCasse in the Nov. 3 election.

Pellegrini defeated LaCasse in the Republican primary in September, amassing nearly 73 percent of the votes.
