Rep. Davis Holds Town Hall Meeting in Ellington

On Wednesday July 10th, State Representative Christopher Davis (R-Ellington) hosted a Town Hall Meeting to discuss the 2013 Legislative Session and the current financial and economic condition of Connecticut with Ellington residents at the Ellington Town Hall. After Rep. Davis delivered a detailed presentation on the recent legislation passed by the General Assembly and the issues facing Connecticut, the meeting continued with a question and answer segment with Ellington residents asking questions about Connecticut’s debt burden and high taxes.

“I’d like to thank everyone who took the time out of their day to stop by the town hall to participate in an open discussion on what took place during the 2013 Legislative Session,” said Davis. “It’s important for me as a state representative to re-connect with my constituents on a regular basis to make sure everyone stays informed on what’s happening at the State Capitol. I’m looking forward to having a similar discussion with the residents of East Windsor next Thursday.”
