Report: Occupants of Classic Car That Hit a Down Tree During Friday's Storm Were Unharmed

ELLINGTON, CT — The two residents whose car hit a tree that fell in front of them while driving a classic car on Frog Hollow Road during a Friday evening storm were not injured during the the incident, according to a state police accident report.
The storm brought a 'mini tornado' to town, one fire official said.
At 9:07 p.m., Rosario Motisi, 54 and Michael Motisi, 14, both of Ellington were driving an older Porsche 944 on Frog Hollow Road and crashed into a tree that had blown over in high winds in the fast-moving storm, according to an accident report.

The were not injured, but the car was towed away, state police said.
The road was closed while the tree, which was across both lanes, was removed, state police said.
