Report: Resource Officer, Administrators Quickly Nipped Somers High School Threat
A girl was arrested in the incident.

SOMERS, CT - Quick work on the part of a school resource officer and school administrators thwarted any panic that could have been induced by a threatening message sent to Somers High School the day students came back from the Memorial Day break, state police said.
State police have released more information on the threat posted by a girl on Instagram.
The threat was noticed at 7:11 a.m., according to a state police report.

The resource officer and school staff members determined "there was no danger to students or staff," state police said.
A juvenile was arrested for breach of peace for the social media posting, state police said.
