Somers Baseball Gets Back in Win Column
After two straight losses, the Spartans got back on track on Friday.

After two straight losses, the Somers High School baseball team got back on track Friday with a 14-2 victory over visiting SMSA.
For Somers, Ryan Connor went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and four runs driven in. Mike Casciano also went 2-for-3 and had two walks, four runs scored, and two RBI.
Brian Hollister went 1-for-3 with a run and RBI and Brian Rossini was 2-for-4 with a run and a RBI.
Hollister started the game and allowed a walk and a hit batter. He struck out four. Brick Palazzo came in in relief and struck out one and walked one.
Somers (7-2) travels to Coventry on Monday. SMSA (2-7) will host Canton the same day.
