On Tuesday, the Somers High School golf team fell 155-173 to visiting Avon.
Avon's Ryan Karbowicz was the medalist with a 34. Marcus Husted shot a 37, Matt Bergman shot a 41, Alex Stekler shot a 43, and Justin Hufsmith shot a 46.
For Somers, Nate Stanton shot a 41, Nick Elia and Cam Stanton shot a 42, and Chris Tarbox and Matt Vecchiarelli each shot a 48.
The match was played at Elmcrest Country Club.
Somers (2-4) travels to Stafford on Friday.
