Somers Golf Falls to Fermi

On Monday, the Somers High School golf team fell 172-185 to host Fermi.

Mike Sweeney was the medalist for Fermi with a 36. Jason Despard shot a 40, Christian Morell shot a 46, Bryan Ortiz shot a 50, Zach Hallquist shot a 53, and James Olson shot a 56.

For Somers, Nick Elia shot a 39, Matt Vecchiarelli shot a 45, Nate Stanton shot a 50, Cam Stanton shot a 51, and Mike Howe and Billy McCluskey each shot a 54.

The match was played at Grassmere Country Club.

Somers (3-6) will host Stafford on Tuesday.
