Somers High School Football Player Named to Walter Camp Team
He is among eight players from north-central Connecticut to make the 50-man all-star team.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Eight high school athletes from Hartford and Tolland counties, including one from Somers, are among 50 players named to the Walter Camp Football Foundation first and second teams from Connecticut.
Rocky Hill head coach Mark Fritz, who led the Terriers to the Class S championship game, is one of three finalists for the Foundation's Coach of the Year award, which will be presented at the 50th Walter Camp Weekend during the 10th "Breakfast of Champions" on Jan. 14, 2017 at the Omni New Haven Hotel.

- T.J. Gardner, Windsor, linebacker
- Mike Munson, Stafford/East Windsor/Somers, placekicker
- Jason Pinnock, Windsor, defensive back
