Somers Lacrosse Gets Balanced Scoring in Victory

The Somers High School boys lacrosse team defeated visting Granby 9-1 on Friday.

The Spartans spread out the scoring with eight different goal scorers.

Ryan Lynch scored two goals and Sean Tynan, Ray McCarthy, Connor Wyllie, Eddie Hill, Kevin Murdoch, Cullen Roberts, and Stephen Astone each added one for Somers.

Ben Marlor was the lone scorer for Granby.

Lynch was dominant on face offs and Zach Beebe was outstanding on defense.

Pat Tynan had 15 saves in goal for Somers and Ricky Conroy with 14 saves for Granby.

Somers (5-2) travels to Canton on Tuesday. Granby (3-3) hosts Housatonic Regional on Monday.
