Somers Election Results 2019: Knorr Holds Off Challenges
Somers residents went to the polls to vote for candidates for first selectman, Board of Selectmen and Board of Education, among others.

SOMERS, CT — The votes have been counted in Somers, and First Selectman Bud Knorr retained his seat over petitioning challengers Ann Logan and Linda Louise LaCasse. The Republican incumbent collected 1,289 votes, Logan had 870 and LaCasse garnered 160.
Democratic Board of Selectmen member Timothy Potrikus sought to retain his seat, while challenging Republicans Tim Keeney and Ralph Williams and Democrat Terri Schmidt also sought election. Their unofficial vote totals from the Secretary of the State's office are:
- Keeney, 1,660
- Williams, 1,303
- Potrikus, 887
- Schmidt, 603
Candidates for spots on the Board of Education included incumbent Democrat Anne Kirkpatrick, and Republican challengers Sylvie Sanchez, Krista Cherry and Marissa Marks. Their totals are:
