Somers Runners Fare Well at Harry Geraghty Invitational

VERNON, CT — Several runners from Somers turned in impressive showings at the fifth annual Harry Geraghty Invitational cross country meet Saturday at Rockville High School.

Freshman Kylie Raymond placed third overall in the girls varsity race, while Jayme Palazzo (17th) was the top Spartan finisher in the boys varsity event.

The late Harry Geraghty coached high school cross country for nearly 40 years, including many at Rockville. He passed away in 2011.
