Stafford/East Windsor/Somers Eliminated from Football Playoffs

The Bulldogs fell short in their bid to reach the Class S Final Four.

ANSONIA, CT — Quarterfinal action got underway Tuesday night in the CIAC state football playoffs, and in none of the four classes did the top four seeds all emerge victorious.

Stafford/East Windsor/Somers bowed out of the Class S playoffs, falling to second-seeded Ansonia, 48-0.

Here are results from Tuesday's contests; all semifinals are scheduled for Monday, Dec. 5 at 6:30 p.m.
