One person was killed and two others seriously injured in a <a href="https://patch.com/connecticut/enfield/crash-closes-i-91-enfield-0">car crash on southbound I-91 near Exit 49 in Enfield</a>.The crash, which happened about 7:30 p.m. Sunday, closed the highway until about 1:30 a.m. Monday, according to WWLP. Connecticut State Police said the driver of a 2002 Honda Accord crashed into a metal beam guide rail, causing the car to overturn, ejecting the driver and two passengers, <a href="http://wwlp.com/2014/12/14/major-accident-shuts-down-i-91-south-in-enfield-ct/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">according to the WWLP report.</a>The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The two passengers were taken to area hospitals for serious injuries.
