ENFIELD, CT — Enfield police are investigating two cases of aggressive dogs at a home Friday, police chief Alaric Fox said.

At 12:30 p.m., officers went to a home on Northwood Street in the Thompsonville section of town after receiving a call about dog bites, Fox said.

Fox said two people were bitten by a pit bull. Both were transported to area hospitals, one with "significant injuries" to "multiple extremities," he said.
