2 More 5-Figure CT Lottery Winners Sold At Enfield Retailers

ENFIELD, CT — The year 2020 may be best forgotten for most, but it ended in grand style (actually, 25 grand) for a local woman, and an Enfield man began the new year with big winnings on a scratch ticket bought at what has become the hot spot in town for CT Lottery players.

Peggy Yush turned a $10 investment in a Winter Winnings scratch ticket into a $25,000 prize. She purchased the ticket at the Mobil Mart on King Street, and claimed her winnings Dec. 24.

On Jan. 4, Robert Johanns hit for the top payout of $10,000 on a 10X Cash 14th Edition ticket bought at Lil' Buddy's Mini Mart on North Maple Street. It was the third 5-figure payout on tickets acquired there since late October.
