3 Sustain Minor Injuries In Highway Crash In Enfield
A car veered off the highway and up an embankment near the Massachusetts state line early Thursday evening.

ENFIELD, CT — Three young people sustained minor injuries when the car in which they were riding veered off the northbound side of Interstate 91 up an embankment on its side at Exit 49 early Thursday evening.
North Thompsonville Fire Chief Earl Provencher said the 2010 Nissan Versa contained three occupants, all in their teens or early twenties. No extrication was required, as all occupants were out of the vehicle upon arrival of emergency personnel.
The identities of the three people have not been released.

Troopers from Connecticut State Police Troop H are investigating the cause of the crash, Provencher said.
