7th Graders at Saint Bernard School Tackle Owl Pellet Dissection

Students in 7th Grade at St. Bernard School tackled their second dissection lab during Life Science Class. Students dissected an owl pellet while simultaneously learning about the predatory habits of owls. The new Trinocular Compound LED Microscope was used to view specimens up close. After completing the dissection lab, students worked in pairs to write up their science lab reports. This interactive lab helped students to compare, contrast and distinguish the bones of the skeletal system.
