Allied will host planning workshop for families with special needs children
Planning for the future; trust funds; guardianships; decision-making. . . free workshop will help parents and guardians navigate many issues

How will the needs of your children with disabilities or special needs be met after you’re gone? What’s the difference between guardianship and conservatorship? Who makes decisions about your child’s life and safety once they turn 18? How can you save for your child’s future when you can’t save for your own? What is a special needs trust?
If you’re a parent or guardian with questions like these, you may be interested in attending a free workshop at Allied Community Services, 3 Pearson Way in Enfield (across the street from DMV) on Tuesday, April 19th beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The workshop will be presented by Stuart Hawkins of the MetLife Center for Special Needs Planning and Timothy Keeney, Judge of Probate for the towns of Enfield, Somers, Stafford and Union.
