Allied's Attic Thrift Store Celebrates 9th Anniversary in August
"Christmas in August" features holiday decorations; new Frequent Shopper Cards; a Red Cross Blood Drive; and more Anniversary specials.
Allied’s Attic Thrift Store at 294 George Washington Rd., in Enfield is celebrating its ninth anniversary with a variety of activities and specials in August.
The entire month will feature a “Christmas in August” sale. Holiday decorations, artificial trees and ornaments, festive housewares, dishes, glass, ceramics, candles and more will be on sale, along with our regular daily specials.
To encourage the spirit of giving we typically enjoy around the holidays, a crew of volunteers will be on hand on Saturday, August 20th—the day of the Attic’s ninth anniversary—from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., to receive your donations. Holiday cookies and refreshments will be served. Santa hats are optional.

An American Red Cross Save-A-Life Bus will be at the Attic on Tuesday, August 23rd, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to collect critically needed blood donations. Please call 1-800-733-2767 or log on to RedCrossBlood.org and use sponsor code "ACS." Walk-ins are always welcome, but reservations will reduce waiting times.
Last but certainly not least, Allied’s Attic will introduce a new Frequent Shopper Card in August. The card provides an immediate 10 percent discount for your purchase of $10 or more. In addition, your card will be punched once for a purchase of $10 or more; twice for $25 or more; three times for $50 or more; four times for $75 or more; and five times for purchases of $100 or more.

After your card has been punched 10 times, your next purchase of at least $10 qualifies for a 25 percent discount. You’ll also receive one free punch on your next Frequent Shopper Card.
