Enfield Man Gets 45 Years For Town Green Murder

He was convicted in May of fatally stabbing a man inside the Enfield Town Green gazebo.

ENFIELD, CT — An Enfield man convicted of killing Christopher Kennedy at the Town Green gazebo in 2022 has been sentenced to 45 years in prison.

John Narducci, 57, received the sentence Tuesday in Hartford Superior Court, according to reports from WTNH and FOX61.

A jury found Narducci guilty of murder May 20 following a trial before Judge Joseph B. Schwartz.

Kennedy, 55, was found dead with multiple stab wounds inside the gazebo on Aug. 10, 2022, according to the Connecticut Division of Criminal Justice.

Prosecutors said witnesses saw Narducci near the green on the evening of the killing. Surveillance video also showed him riding his bicycle near the scene throughout the day.

A knife recovered from Narducci contained Kennedy's DNA on its blade, prosecutors said.

Kennedy had contacted police the night before his death to report an argument but withdrew the complaint after the other person left, according to the arrest warrant. A witness later told investigators that Narducci had threatened Kennedy because he called police and then admitted stabbing him.

Narducci was located later that day along the Windsor Locks Canal State Park Trail in Suffield. He was initially arrested on charges related to confrontations with police and was charged with Kennedy's murder in November 2022 following a nearly three-month investigation.

Senior Assistant State's Attorneys Danielle O'Connell and Stacey Cox prosecuted the case, with assistance from inspectors Robert Nesci and Carlos Ocasio and paralegal specialist Kelly Randall.
