Under a 2025 state law, the winner's identity remains confidential unless they choose to go public.

Enfield Man Gets 45 Years For Town Green Murder (patch.com) — Enfield readers are learning that local resident John Narducci has been sentenced to 45 years in prison for the 2022 stabbing death of Christopher Kennedy at the Town Green gazebo. Prosecutors detailed witness accounts, surveillance footage, DNA evidence on a knife, and a prior police call as key elements that led to his murder conviction.
   

3. Applications Open For Heating Help In Enfield (patch.com) — Enfield residents who need help paying their heating bills this winter can now apply for assistance through the Connecticut Energy Assistance Program, with benefits paid directly to utilities or fuel vendors. The program outlines clear income limits, benefit ranges, and application deadlines, and Enfield Social Services at the Alcorn School is available to help residents submit applications in person, by phone, or by mail.
   

4. Santanella Cruises To Victory In Court-Ordered Enfield Primary (patch.com) — Enfield voters just delivered a lopsided win for State Rep. John Santanella in a special, court-ordered Democratic primary, keeping him on the ballot for the 58th House District. About 1,000 local Democrats turned out, and Santanella is now pressing the state to reimburse Enfield for the extra election and related legal costs.
