ENFIELD, CT — A Massachusetts solar energy company has leased 125,000 square feet at the former Hallmark property on Manning Road.
Solect Energy Development signed a multi-year lease at 53 Manning Road. The Hopkinton-based company develops, installs and services solar and battery storage systems for businesses, municipalities, schools and nonprofit organizations.
Solect says it has completed more than 900 projects representing over 185 megawatts of solar capacity.
The 362,568-square-foot industrial building sits on 14 acres near Interstate 91. Hallmark once used the property as part of its longtime Enfield operations.
The building also houses a self-storage facility. A current property listing shows approximately 102,783 square feet of second-floor warehouse space remains available.
The rental price, occupancy date, planned use of the Enfield space and number of employees were not disclosed.
