Police ID 2 Found Dead Inside Enfield Home (patch.com) β Enfield police have identified the two people found dead inside a Foxhill Lane home as Michael Tellier and Amber Tetreault, both Enfield residents. Officers discovered them in a converted bedroom with signs of heavy alcohol use and prescription medication present, but investigators say there are currently no indications of foul play or suspicious circumstances.

Two Yonkers men charged in connection to stolen cooking oil from Connecticut businesses (news12.com) β Enfield businesses are being warned after police arrested two Yonkers men accused of trying to steal used cooking oil from multiple local locations. Officers seized their truck, equipment, and about $10,000 in cash, and investigators believe the vehicle may be tied to a wider string of cooking oil thefts along the Interstate 91 corridor.

4. Man Sentenced In Bank Robbery Spree That Included Enfield (patch.com) β A Massachusetts man has been sentenced to more than seven years in federal prison for a multi-state bank robbery spree that included the American Eagle Credit Union in Enfield. Investigators, including Enfield police, tied him to 14 robberies across New England using DNA evidence and other clues, and he must also pay over $82,000 in restitution.

CT State Middlesex Offers Accelerated Classes This Fall (patch.com) β Local students in Enfield can tap into CT State's accelerated fall courses by applying once and then choosing classes at Middlesex or other campuses, including Enfield. Shorter-term online and on-campus options in subjects from business law to engineering offer flexible ways to earn credits, with financial aid and veterans' benefits available for those who qualify.
